Here is a very interesting picture taken by Dennis in the early 70s showing the old Claymore taking on cars by hoist at the railway pier in Oban. This was a very slow and precarious method compared to today's modern roll on roll off vessels.Dennis still shoots Cal Mac ferries today with a great passion.Dennis Hardley Photography at http://www.scotphoto.com/
This was one of my favourite pictures from the past taken by myself possible late 70s/early 80s showing the ferry "Arran" (known locally as the wee Arran) taken by myself as she passes Kerrera shortly after departing Oban. I still shoot Cal Mac ferries today, just like this one, passing through interesting and dramatic scenery.Much more at http://www.scotphoto.com/ and www. ineedanimage.com

Dennis Took this shot today. He had already bookmarked the spot ready for the right day preferably with the late afternoon sun clipping the trees. Snow on the Ben really gives the picture a lift contrasting with the deep browns of the foliage .Nikon D3X with 70-300mm lense. Shot from the Isle of Eriska Argyll
Yesterday Tony and I were commissioned to photograph a large house and grounds on the shore of loch Awe near Kilchrenan.Exteriors and interiors were taken. Here is a shot taken from up a tree looking towards the property showing its great location.Ben Cruachan can be seen in distance.www.scotphoto.com
