The Mull of Kintyre truly inspired Paul McCartney to write a song about this beautiful part of Scotland. It also inspired Dennis Hardley to find this view at sunset which looks towards the Mull of Kintyre and the coast of Northern Ireland.Great for grazing,Great for Geologists, and great for photographers.
It was late in the afternoon when I took this picture of a group of Wind Turbines at Tangy on the Kin tyre Peninsula when the sky turned a gentle pink from the upturned sun which had disappeared under the clouds.
Yesterday Dennis set out for Kintyre to get pictures of a wind farm at Tangymill, these of all subjects need some thought and creativity.I stayed until dusk and took this shot with a truly magnificent pink afterglow in the sky.

A few moments later the scene was lost when a breeze and thicker cloud came over
On Sunday I visited the Lochan trail walk in glencoe one of my favourite places especially in Autumn. It was cloudy at first but later cleared with mirror still reflections ,wow, just take a look at this.www.scotphoto.com

This is another of the images taken last sunday at Tralee -bay holiday park this time using a very wide lense and back-lit reeds on the lochan in this well kept holiday park. When taking autumn shots in particular, shooting against the sun (back lighting) gives a great effect which allows the light to penetrate through the leaves.
Yesterday (sunday) I went over to look out some shots at Tralee Bay holiday park which belongs to another of our clients. I am very glad I made the effort as the conditions were perfect for some nice images depicting Autumn Tranquility. This was taken with a Nikon D3X with a f2.8 14-24 wide angle lense www.scotphoto.com and www.tralee.com
